Fortune's Banner (Banner for short!) 5 yr old, 16HH thoroughbred gelding. I foaled Banner myself. He is not registered. Smart, with lots of personality. Good bone. He was started under saddle at 3 and was no trouble. He hasn't been ridden since due to serious health problems that I have. His dam is Fille of Fortune (thoroughbred) who was a pretty good polo pony. She was retired from polo when her owner died. She had good bone & was a pretty grey mare. His sire is Flag Down, who won 11 of 43 career starts and earned $1,699,711. He won five stakes, including the 1997 Pan American Handicap (G2) and ’98 Gulfstream Park Breeders’ Cup Handicap (G2), both at Gulfstream Park. He was a Group 3 winner in France at age four.
Banner has lots of personality as he has hung out with my old arabians all his life! I can't do anymore for Banner because of my health problems. He needs someone to further his education & become his best pal.
